Malcuth & Facutum is a collaboration of two producers from Prague. The project blends forward-thinking sound design and traditional hip-hop sampling methods and grooves. They both strongly emphasize their art’s visual aesthetic and symbolic meanings, which pervades their conceptual albums and audiovisual works. With an emphasis on heavy basslines, fresh rhythms, darker cinematic moods and melodic elements, their tracks leave a profound artistic impression while keeping the feet moving on the dance floor. The integration of live instruments, turntablism and eclectic musical sense of detail in their style of production sets them apart from the crowd.
Their releases can be found under labels such as Sinful Maze (CZE) where they released SFM005 as well as their biggest project yet – „‘Pentiment LP“, Open Outlets (UK), 21floor (UA), ZNK (CZE) and have performed at Let It Roll, Darkshire, Raveyard, Žižkovská Noc, Hip Hop Kemp Votvírák and other festivals. In 2023, they penetrated the US scene with their second album “Alter LP” on the forward-thinking VALE, collaborating with the UK legend Grey Code or Babi and Floret Loret on the vocals.
