Unearthing a full exhibit of sonic artefacts is producer Thez with his debut LP ‘Hidden’ out today on Sinful Maze. Our first introduction to the half-Czech, half-Slovakian producer was a gem on SFM’s first compilation ‘The Maze’ back in 2019.
This year he has released several singles between a self-release, a free download on SFM, and a track on Plat:form. Not to mention his brilliant collaboration last year with Subtension on the reputable NëU label.
In accordance with Sinful Maze’s ethos as a label, Thez portrays an outstanding composition of artistic styles, rhythms, and sounds. Embodying the results of his feelings in life and his experiments in the studio. The LP is an accurate representation of their passion for boundary-pushing art.
Lashing out at the world around us is ‘Hypocrisy’ as Lex Timbre’s opening statement of the spoken word leads us into a heaving calamity of quaking bass lines, rich textures, and sharp drums. Uproaring in the sway of the intricate rhythm set at 130bpm until spinning out into mystifying pandemonium. We are thrilled to premiere this formidable track and raise the curtain for Thez’ new alternative project Lex Timbre, which you’ll hear lots more of in the coming year of 2023.
