Almost a decade of lasting friendship and collaboration between Malk and Psychical Research has escalated into a Czech-Belarus Drum & Bass project. It is the inevitable comeback pushing the limits ad astra. After their solo careers with the history of collaborations with Teddy Killerz, Nick Bee or A-Cray and events cuts like Let it Roll and Neuropunk, they disappeared in 2015…
… just to return in 2020 as a symbiotic project DECADES. Their debut release “Rotten” with MC Kryptomedic on the vocal duties had an impressive impact on the scene, got remixed by Meph and Psynchro but most importantly they got supported by acts like Pendulum, Noisia, Ed Rush, Black Sun Empire and The Upbeats playing the tune in their set. Later that year they announced the chilled side of their vision with their self-released freebie “Thinking About You”.
Decades devoted their releasing plans for 2021 to SINFUL MAZE with another liquid DnB “Indifference” that got the heavy remix treatment by the sinful leading trio Notequal, teaming up with YAANO, Notequal and SLWDWN with their special project „The Valua EP„, hosting on the label co-founder Meph’s “Unifying EP” with their innovative “Trinity” finishing the year on with “Dusk” on Celsius Recordings. In 2022 they continue with their wild ride releasing on labels like Neuropunk, High Resistance, SFM and SFM again, Ignescent and Focus… then in 2023 Neuropunk again.
After this adventure, kept low-key until now, ready to tour and explore the world! Decades have no interest in defining their sound in time, they are just all about enjoying the variety of the sound palette, from the lights of the melodic sphere to the metal forging snares destroying the dancefloors all around the globe.
