Martin Tomášek, known as Phonetick, is an artist, producer, electronic music DJ and co-founder of the Czech collective Plat:form occurring on the scene since 2008 with his first production coming out in 2014 on Transmission Audio. In 2017, he was part of the TITAN x Let it Roll VA compilation thanks to his cut “Metropolis” on the collab duties with Maniatics and Innate MC. Since then, his sound started evolving in many directions during the time of his life. His music encompasses various styles while maintaining a unique quality. Each track brings a new touch of characteristic environment and technical sound.
His vision to musically convey the energy of contrasts, perspective, fun and flow shaped his direction to the imprints of labels such as Bad Taste with his “Cyberpunk EP” in 2018, timeless neo-neuro banger “Shaped Future” on SINFUL MAZE’s first release VA compilation in 2019 and later that year put his hands on the remix of “Electronic Warfare” by Audio and Redpill, again, as the part of 0101 Music debut VA remix compilation as well.
In 2021, he joined forces with Rido and Thez to create the Plat:from where he released his debut track “Survival” as part of the platform’s first VA Compilation on newly formed recordings by him and his peers. Phonetick keeps pushing his music form freely now on their label without any shackles of boundaries, f.e.: “Recapture”, “Crocodile / Maybe” with Rido and Holotope, “Offgrid EP”, “You”, “Butterfly”, “Transform”, “I´ve been having dreams” and counting…
